Hello there, my car is a Chevrolet Corvette 2011 grand sport. Every time I fill gas up, there is a strong smell in the passenger side that eventually becomes unbearable. I have tried unsuccessfully to locate a leak and even installed a new gas cap as preventive maintenance but the issue persists. I have searched the forums and spoke with different mechanics about my situation and they mentioned a safety recall addressing this issue on same model years and recently a friend of mine came upon the same issue and was repaired by the dealership under that recall. I took mine to the nearest dealership service and they denied the existence of such recall. I'm reaching out to you for help solving this situation.
