This data is from the NHTSA — the US gov't agency tasked with vehicle safety. Complaints are spread across multiple & redundant categories, & are not organized by problem.
So how do you find out what problems are occurring? For this NHTSA complaint data, the only way is to read through the comments below. Any duplicates or errors? It's not us.
Driver information center (dic) displays "service traction control system" and alternating to "service active handling system". occurs without warning when driving; these systems abruptly stop working with out driver turning them off. This could lead to loss of control.
My 2010 Corvette ZR1 displays the "service active handling" message every few drives. It is sporadic, and intermittent... the problem does not seem to have an identifiable cause, or condition to make the message appear, only that it does, and immediately the car does not seem to feel right. It also seems to be increasing in frequency. I have less than 1,600 miles on the car, no bumps, no accidents, nothing... the car is in "perfect condition" aside from the "service active handling" message on the drivers information console display.
