- 14523 - EMISSION RECALL. GENERAL MOTORS HAS DECIDED TO CONDUCT A VOLUNTARY EMISSIONS RECALL INVOLVING CERTAIN 2008-2009 MODEL YEAR CHEVROLET CORVETTE VEHICLES, EQUIPPED WITH A 6.2L ENGINE (LS3) AND CALIFORNIA EMISSION SYSTEM (NU5). THE VEHICLES MAY BE EMITTING AIR POLLUTANTS IN EXCESS OF THE CALIFORNIA VEHICLE EMISSION STANDARDS. DEALERS ARE TO REPROGRAM THE ENGINE CONTROL MODULE AND REPLACE THE CATALYTIC CONVERTERS.
