The contact owns a 2007 Chevrolet Corvette. While driving 65 mph, the service active handling system warning light illuminated on the warning panel. The contact reviewed NHTSA campaign id number 10V172000 (steering, column); yet, when contacting the dealer, he was advised that the recall did not exist. The dealer did not repair the vehicle or perform a diagnostic test since the contact had not experienced a direct failure.
