The contact owns a 2005 Chevrolet Corvette convertible. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the vibration from the vehicle fractured the mounting assembly to the rear view mirror. The vehicle was later taken to a dealer where the contact was advised that the socket in the mirror was fractured and the entire mirror assembly would need replacing. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and offered no assistance. The failure and current mileages were approximately 37,000. Updated 03/15/13 updated 04/09/2013
