The contact owns a 2004 Chevrolet Corvette. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer for routine maintenance where the contact was informed the fiberglass crossmember bar was cracking and separating. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact called the manufacturer who referred him to the dealer. The failure mileage was 9,787. Updated 02/18/11 the consumer stated the dealership replaced the part in question. Updated 03/09/11
