I was rear-ended (hit & run) & my 2000 Corvette was pushed into the rear of another car. My car was totaled, both air bags did not deploy. I need to find out why the air bags did not deploy. I was injured & was taken to emergency for care & treatment. I have had all known recalls done, well maintained car, & have kept all records of recalls, repairs, etc.
Consumer was traveling 75 mph on the highway and the steering wheel locked up. Consumer was unable to maintain control of the vehicle, and it crashed into guard rail and flipped three times, landing in a ditch. Upon impact, both frontal air bags did not deploy. Driver sustained head and neck injuries, and was transported to a hospital. Vehicle was towed and totaled.
Consumer states steering column locked while driving. As a result vehicle was involved in a crash. Dealer notified. While driving the vehicle steering wheel locked up. As a result the vehicle crossed the median and hit a Jeep head on. The Jeep caught fire and the consumer's Corvette was totaled. The air bags didn't deploy causing consumer to sustain injuries to the head and a sprained ankle for 3 weeks. Consumer lost consciousness for approx. 20 minutes. Duplicate voq.
