I have a fuel leak coming from right behind the fuel filter towards the top of the passenger fuel tank. This is creating a fuel vapor smell and a safety hazard.
I have a message on my dashboard stating "service steering column lock". this message triggers a fuel shutoff at 2 mph. Luckily this happened to me as I was pulling out of my driveway. I dread to imagine the consequences of this happening if I had been driving at speed on a highway or busy street.
This vehicle has 30,000 mi. Just started noticing fuel smell coming from right rear side after parking inside my garage. Can't see any leaks on the floor, yet concerning !
