On three occasions the fuel injector system failed causing engine to decelerate from 60 mph to 25 mph resulting in loss of control which almost caused collision. However there is a technical service bulletin number 77-63-04 for 1994-1998 vehicles describing the same failure.

Air flow sensor to engine was said to have been damaged when air filters were changed by mechanics costing $365 to replace. This causes acceloration problems that may cause accidents since it happens randomly and you have no power to accelerate
