If your Colorado is shuddering get it to the dealer soon, there is a bulletin from GM to flush the transmission replacing the existing fluid with the right fluid. I can only assume there was a mistake at the factory.

I traded my 2012 Chevrolet Colorado for a brand new 2019 Chevrolet Colorado. The 2012 was a great truck with no problems, as was the 2007 Chevrolet Silverado I had prior to the 2012. I noticed the new truck started vibrating/shuttering going up small inclines after I had the truck for a very short period of time. I took the truck back to the dealership and they changed the transmission fluid, which took out most of the vibrating/shuttering, but by no means all of vibrating/shuttering. On the first oil change, I told the dealership that the truck has improved, but it is still vibrating and shuttering when going up road inclines. They drove the truck, and reported that they didn't feel what I feel everyday that I drive this truck. I'm sure they know what the issue is, but they don't want to claim ownership and fix it. Getting ready to take my truck back for the second oil. I will again tell them that the truck is still vibrating/shuttering when going up small inclines.

Update from Jun 11, 2019: Took my 2019 Colorado truck back to the dealership for the third oil change. I was told they were going to replace the transmission torque converter, so they kept it for three days. They did give me a loaner truck to drive. When I went to pick it up, I was told that they changed the transmission fluid again. When I mentioned the torque converter, they told me the new transmission fluid would take care of the transmission shuttering problems. Time will tell if this new transmission fliud will take care of the problem.

They know about the problem, but there is no fix as of yet. I believe it has been going on since 2017. All they will do now is a fluid flush. They say there is a fix coming late 1st quarter 2019. How are they selling these with problems like this...

Only affects the 8 speed trans
