CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2015 Chevy Colorado has a significant trend of transmission problems. Read more »
Most owners reporting transmission problems with their 2015 Colorado report sluggish shifting or other similar problems with the truck not shifting properly. Although most of these 2015 Colorado trucks are still under warranty, it's not a good sign.
The Chevy Colorado is mechanically identical to the GMC Canyon.
We purchased a new 2015 Chevrolet Colorado. On March 2nd, it started and ran (by itself) in our garage, directly above my son's bedroom! It has now been over 2 months and GM and Libertyville Chevrolet have yet to resolve this life and death issue. I sure wish General Motors could acknowledge our concern, but can't see through the carbon monoxide haze. I thought safety was the Number One concern?
UPDATE* Dealership(Libertyville Chevrolet-Illinois)offered me a great deal yesterday! They will give me 19K for the Colorado-KBB quotes $24-26K and allow me to finance-You guessed it, $30K @ 2.9%. I would then be allowed to purchase a new 2017 for $36,500. Same truck advertised for-You guessed it $31,353 on Libertyville Chevrolet's website.
