The timing chain was replaced at 36000 miles under warranty. Now at 50000 miles the same code P0017 triggered and the mechanic indicted to me its the same problem. Timing chains should not go out under 60K miles for me it looks like 2 have had problems. GM has a problem with these Colorados.
