The contact owns a 2007 Chevrolet Colorado equipped with general tires, tire line: Grabber at/2, tire size: 265/70/R15, dot number: A3bm3nh2617E40240029. The contact stated while driving 65 mph, there was a blowout of the driver's side rear tire. The blowout caused the vehicle to turn sharply left, spin around twice, and crashed with oncoming vehicles coming from behind. Emergency services were called out to the scene of the crash. There were no injuries sustained. A police report was filed. The tire was a replacement tire. Neither the tire manufacturer nor the vehicle manufacturer were notified of the failure. The failure mileage on the tire was 14,000.

The contact owns a 2007 Chevrolet Colorado. The vehicle has general ameri-trac radial tires. The dealer stated that the tires were dry rotting on the outer and inner tread. The contact was informed that the tires would not last by wintertime. He does not understand why the vehicle has radial tires and why are they wearing out at 25,000 miles. He feels that a crash could occur. The tire size and dot number were unknown. The failure mileage was 25,000.

The contact owns a 2007 Chevrolet Colorado. The contact stated that his vehicle was experiencing ongoing failures with the vehicle. There was a hard vibration in the engine and brake failure. As a result, the vehicle was placed in the repair shop for 18 days. There was also uneven tread on both front tires. At that time, the vehicle was aligned and the tires were rotated. The vehicle has been repaired at least seven times; however, the failures persist. The contact feels that the failures are safety hazards that could cause a crash. The current and failure mileages were 23,700.
