The contact owns a 2007 Chevrolet Colorado truck. He stated that over a year ago he crashed into a vehicle since the brake and accelerator pedal design was defective. The gas pedal is too close to the brake pedal; therefore, sometime when he engaged the brake pedal his foot also stepped on the accelerator pedal. The dealer stated that there was nothing that they could do to adjust the pedals. The failure mileage was 15,000 and the current mileage was 66,000. Updated 02/23/10. The consumer stated hit another vehicle when he stepped on the brake and accelerator pedals. Updated 08/11/10
