The contact owns a 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt. While driving approximately 55 mph, the accelerator pedal was depressed and the pedal became stuck. The vehicle accelerated up to 95 mph. After applying the accelerator pedal multiple times, it released in the normal position. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 85,000.
