New problem just started. Last week I wanted to fill my tank and the gas pump kept clicking off. I had to dribble in a little at a time and finally stopped at $10. Only about 3.5 gallons. Today my low fuel indicator came on and I tried to fill the tank again but it started doing the same thing. I held the nozzle to run the gas down the back of the fill pipe. It shut off at $14.50 and wouldn't let me add more. Could I have a blockage? Could the full tank float be broken or defective? Could my electrical system be messed up from my previous problem and the messages sent are incorrect? Do I have more gas than the gauge and dashboard indicate? Any one else have a sudden onset problem filling the tank?
