The 2006 added it’s own special flare with gas leaks due to cracks in the “return portion of the modular reservoir assembly.” A recall of 2006 Cobalts was issued to fix the problem, but only to vehicles sold in or current registered in Arizona and Nevada, leaving other owners to pay for repairs themselves.
Well, the hood was popped one day, and when we went to close it, it would not latch completely down. I feel as though the lever mechanism is not connected properly. The only thing holding the hood down is the front latch that needs to be pushed over to open. The biggest inconvenience is the fact that people wave me down, sometimes even stop their cars in the middle of the street to let me know that my hood is open.
