The 2006 added it’s own special flare with gas leaks due to cracks in the “return portion of the modular reservoir assembly.” A recall of 2006 Cobalts was issued to fix the problem, but only to vehicles sold in or current registered in Arizona and Nevada, leaving other owners to pay for repairs themselves.
My key fob wouldn't work. It wouldn't be a big deal except for the fact that the alarm goes off every time I reopen the door after locking the door. It cost me $84 to get a new remote and for a while that only worked half the time.
I lost my one key fob/key at a concert. No big deal...it was a distance away from my car. [as in car was home=i was 100 miles away...no way would anyone steal the car]
Second fob worked for a very short time...changed the battery. THEN stopped workin all together.and key would cause alarm to go most times. PIA... THEN my major biggie...car died...just died. NOT a person ever told me that there was a PRIMARY key and second key...thught they were both the same ...what's up with this...now I have no car, no key fobs, and I really really want to know how to get some help with all this....
