This van has tire issues (reported on another complaint) and whenever a tire gets below it's maximum pressure level, it sends a "check tire" signal, which is a royal pain in the ass because it hijacks the info system. Until you top off the air in the tire(s), you can't read your odometer or any other info that gets displayed on that gauge. You would think they would have thought about this for a vehicle that is going to mostly be used commercially, where drivers may have to keep track of mileage. Thanks to government overreach, it's illegal to dismantle the "check tire" system and those tire sensors are $50 each to replace when the batteries die in them. I did discover that the tire sensor on the spare only lights up the tire fault symbol, without sending the "check tire" signal to the gauge, without hijacking the whole system.
Whoever came up with the idea for those tire sensors should be deported to Gitmo! If you can't tell when you have a flat tire or when they're low, you shouldn't be driving anyway.
