Biggest issue was that the starter wore out and needed to be rebuilt. Also, the clutch adjustment broke off and was defective. This was easily fixed with a pair of vice grips. Nothing else would go wrong with this car and it even got good gas mileage.
The Chevrolet Chevette. 1980. The biggest problem with this car is it would not wear out. I had to sell it first. It does not impress chicks. It costs 20% less than a comparable Toyota Turdsell. Handled well, rear wheel drive. Needed a 5 speed instead of 4, but what do you get for $3900 brand new? A fun little car if you are married - do not buy if single, and if you are a guy.
