Alright... I bought this vehicle with 49k original miles on it this past January. The vehicle, at a stop light, overheated followed by a gurgling sound resulting in the spill of the coolant. Under the warranty that I was given I brought it over, the person said it was flushed and a thermostat was put in. Ran ok for a bit... then it did it again but this time it didn't gurgle nor spilled coolant...Brought it again and the same work was done. About a month passed and again the car drove just fine and on a regular stop light it over heated and gurgled and spilled the coolant (photo attached). At this point the car was still under warranty and the dealer person refused to work on it. A nearby person helped with coolant so I could make it home. It drove fine for several weeks and it did it once more some weeks back. I noticed that when I turn on the heater, it helps it but if I turn the cool air on it tends to heat up...especially if the weather outside is warm. I brought it to be diagnosed and they suggested the radiator to be changed out, but the dealer refused to do so. Now with the warmer weather approaching I am extremely concerned since I have children. Also I have noticed that I can smell the coolant inside of the vehicle as I'm driving (through the air vents). I bought it to help myself and the family move around but I feel very stressed every time I have to drive being so unpredictable. Please help. I also would like to know if there are any recalls on this issue for this year and model. Thank you in advance.
Please all I ask is for a solution to this problem. My only stalling point is that I have no financial means to pay for the fixing of this issue.
