i love this car..but it is very annoying to to drive..i have to drive without overdrive and cannot go over 50 mph..with overdrive hooked up it is too dangerous to drive because of it stalling out..it could stall out in a busy intersection and could cause an accident and people could get hurt..i have my 4 year old grand daughter with me most of the time when i am driving this car. it is my only way of transportation as of right now..i don't know what this will cost to have repaired. someone told me it only needed a TCC solenoid replaced but i don't know anything about working on cars and cannot really afford to pay to have it fixed at this time so i guess it is driving 50 mph or stay home..

The car drove fine until you stepped on the brake. It would shake and stall. Thought it was engine trouble, but my mechanic said that fourth gear was locking up. I had a four speed automatic OD tranny. Wasn't worth fixing, so we disconnect fourth gear. Solved that problem, but couldn't drive over 50mph. Was better than stalling in the middle of the highway.
