Bought vehicle on 6/30/2021, and I had driven it home from the dealer (about 35-40 miles). About 3 days later, I had to go to the doctor’s, and the check engine light came on after it wouldn't start, nor could I remove the key! My boyfriend jiggled some wires and it started. Boyfriend called the dealer who I bought it from and they said to take it up there (another 35-40 miles 1 way) so took it back. It was a bad sensor.

They supposedly fixed it. Not!

Then it happened again! They said this time ( now this is the 3rd or 4th time back to the dealer) that somebody had connected the wires to the sensor or something like backwards! So after that they removed the wires from sensor and said it was safe to drive without them. So I did for a week until the parts came in, again another 35 to 40 mile 1 way trip to be fixed!

I was on vacation at my sisters and the check engine light came on again! I was over 200 miles from home. So I took it to an auto parts store up there where they checked it for free. A sensor again! So I had to drive it with check engine light again for my entire rest of vacation and home!

So the dealer said to take it into the dealership where my boyfriend works, so a week later or more got it in to work on 8/30/21. Well they "Fixed" the problem but yesterday I had to get tests done at a hospital in town, got in my vehicle after getting a few groceries and guess what?! It wouldn't start again! Now my boyfriend said battery current sensor seems to be the issue! I think this issue should be addressed and recalled to fix the problem! The dealer where I bought it from said to unplug it and drive it! WTH?!!!
