My '93 Caprice came stock with 2.56 gears that I recently changed to 3.73's. After doing so my speedometer and transmission didn't seem to be working properly, so I changed the drive gear (15 tooth) and the driven gear (39 tooth) in the tailshaft housing. Since doing so the speedometer seems to be working properly but the transmission still isn't shifting right, I'm running 22's with a 265/35/22 tire. Would the dakota digital SGI-5 solve my shifting problem or is there something else I may be overlooking?
Thank you for your time and advice.
