Vehicle shudders, a problem that was brought to GM attention in 2016. In 2016 you recalled certain vehicles knowing this problem would happen to other Camaros down the line. Im writing that my Camaro be added. I have only 25,000 miles.

Every sense the car was bought from the dealership and it would rain the trunk leaks and holds water to cause electrical damage and problems. I took it back to the dealership and they said they didn-??t see a problem but there was a problem. Currently I am so hurt to have a car I can-??t drive under raining conditions and now my trunk smell of moldy and its problems due to electrical issues. The trunk leaked enough to cover the fuse box caused lots of electrical problems.
On Friday August 12th 2022 at 9:30pm check engine light came on after car was sitting turned off for a few hours while my fiance was buffing/polishing/waxing the car. Checked the chevy app, it didn't list any problems. Took it to auto zone. They ran diagnostics. Came back codes P0711 and P0700. Made appointment at AAMCO Monday August 15th. Car was not smoothly down shifting and when put in drive or reverse would jump slightly. AAMCO basically said the transmission was bad. Which I can't understand how that could happen, it's a 2016 only has a little over 70,000 miles on it and is extremely well taken care of. I'm being told we have 2 options either the whole transmission needs to be taken out and rebuilt to find the problem, an estimated $3000-$6000. Or 2 the TCM can be replaced/reprogrammed for over $2500 which is not a guaranteed fix. They also told us a few other chevys with low miles also needed a transmission rebuild! So what is going on Chevrolet!? And we're still making payments on this car and it's already having expensive problems!

I noticed an occasional shudder at highway speeds. Traveling between Spokane to Coeurd'lene, a 30 or so mile distance, two episodes each way. The shudders are noticeable and there were very slight shudders before which I thought were hesitations before the last time I drove the car. I have had a difficult time to get it in the dealer as soon as I mention shudder. I was able to schedule a transmission flush without mentioning shudder.
When I was driving on the highway going 65mph, what seems to be the transmission, kept stalling and wouldn't run any faster as I tried switching lanes. Almost hit the semi truck in front of me because my car wouldnt advance any faster. My vehicle only has 66,000 miles it's a 2016 Camaro V6 and already having transmission problems. It also doesn't go in reverse. Took it to the dealership and they didn't want to help me out because the warranty doesn't cover it anymore 60,000 being the end of it when mine was only 6,000 over.
Car jerking when shifting at any gear, seems like transmission going out. When speeding it feels like shaking. Havent had the car a whole year yet smh.... got a transmission flush done but problem came right back... Chevy says everyone is having the same problem but since no recall has been issued its nothing they can
When shifting from 1st to 2nd hear there is an issue with either the transmission or the engine. It almost stalled when shifting. This happens all the time. I've had the transmission finished already, but seems like it's having more issues. Started after I bought the vehicle, no real start date on issue
I bought this car a couple of months ago and as you accelerate there is a shuddering sensation that you can feel. You literally feel like you're being shaken. I had to do a google search to figure out what was wrong with the car.
Six speed manual transmission clunks and grinds 2nd 3rd 4th gears cold and occasionally 2nd when hot. Has done this since purchased brand new and now has 44,000 miles.
Constantly get a shudder at low RPM's 30-50mph- like the car does not know what gear it wants to be in. Also recieve P0122 code of throttle after fast acceleration. Taking this to performance engine place to diagnose
Purchased car with 20908 miles on 12/18/19. Noticed engine rpms fluctuating about 200 rpms when at steady cruising speed 2nd day of owning car. 3rd day noticed bad shudder when in V4 mode along with RPM fluctuation.
I have almost had an accident twice based on the transmission not shifting properly and the car loosing traction between 1st and 2nd gear. Chevy has flushed the transmission 3 times with no change. 3 weeks ago the engine failed while I was trying to accelerate on a highway. This caused a truck to almost Ram the back of my car and another car almost hit me as I tried to get to the side of the highway. I was able to drive it to the dealer. Auto nation Chevrolet on lee vista blvd, orl. Florida. They determined that it was a catastrophic engine failure. The engine has been taken apart into many pieces and much of it is sitting on the dealership shop floor. The mechanic said the engine failure was due to a defective valve casing and a defective spring..damaging the camshaft. All valves and springs and camshaft would need to be replaced. Chevy has declined my request for a new engine..they said that decision is up to the dealership service manager. I spoke to him...he said that the cost to replace the engine must be within a few hundred dollars vs rebuilding the engine for him to authorize that the engine be replaced.. this is now 3 weeks in duration with no car, which cost me close to $50,000 and almost has caused me to be in 3 accidents. I am appealing for your intervention.
During acceleration and deceleration, the 8-speed automatic transmissions seems to jump as if it is missing gears. This has been an ongoing issue for some months. The vehicle was purchased brand new in 2016 with only 12 miles. Diagnostic testing has been performed and nothing has been found. However, this issue still persists. Also, the backup camera, radio, and entire mylink system went out. After diagnostics, it was confirmed that the hmi module was bad--the car was not 3 years old at the time. Unfortunately, this is a $1000 dealership repair ticket. GM has stated that there is nothing they can do. Also, others in the dealership as well as outside licensed repair shops said they had the seen the same issue with the Camaro.
Transmission stalls out during acceleration and and also lounges forward with out any acceleration very scared of driving my car in daily basis and have reported this problem to
