The contact owns a 2015 Chevrolet Camaro. While driving approximately 25 mph, a loud noise was heard emerging from the rear of the vehicle. The vehicle was driven to the contact's residence. Once the vehicle was parked, the contact noticed a blue colored fluid covering the rear differential. The vehicle was taken to the dealer (ghent Chevrolet, 2715 35th avenue, greeley, Colorado 80634) where it was diagnosed that the rear differential failed and needed replacement. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact also stated that the vehicle was repaired in February of 2018 at dellenbach motors (3111 S college avenue, fort collins, co 80525) regarding the rear cv shocks that go into the rear differential. The manufacturer was notified of the failures. The approximate failure mileage was 76,000. Updated 11/30/18
