Camaro ZL1 V8

This could have cost my son's and my life. As we know, most people don't pay attention while driving because they're distracted with other things (cell phones, etc). For us who have high performance cars, we are much more attentive (and I teach this to my family to do so as well). I would consider myself to be rather strong (physically), but if this happened to another individual, who wasn't as strong and couldn't turn, they could have simply totaled the car, or at worst, lost their life. This is an obvious factory recall situation, as it could have costed ours (thankfully it didn't).

Camaro ZL1 Ls V8

  • Automatic transmission
  • 61,000 miles

I’m attempting to pull my Camaro ZL1 out of the garage when the steering wheel felt real tight. I wasn’t able to move the steering wheel or turn the wheels without lots of muscle. When I tried to turn the wheel to the right it locked up. I had to struggle to get the wheel to turn back just enough to reverse back into the garage. This car cannot be driven because if this happened at any speed it would be very bad. When I called the dealer they didn’t seem very concerned and said bring it in, 12 miles away. So now I have to get it towed.
