It started with the radio static and popping. Then the ac blower was intermittent, then the blinkers stopped making sounds. It was not the BCM. I had that replaced. I took it to Hendeick Chevy in Naples and was told it was the faceplate. They would repair it for $700 plus dollars without installing a new radio! And then they said it might or might not fix the problem. So then I'd need a new radio that they wanted another $450 for...
I have seen numerous complaints all referencing this same issue. With hundreds of identical complaints, there should've been a recall. I am taking it somewhere else to see if it can be fixed more reasonably. Then I'm trading it in and will never own another GM product.
The only positive thing I can say about this dealership is that my service writer, Ryan, really went out of his way to help... But that doesn't get me a working vehicle...
Does anybody know of a simpler way to fix this faceplate issue?
