- Summary
- This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about three different conditions some vehicles may have with the Fog Lamps. First condition that the fog lamps are inoperative and the vehicle is vehicle is equipped with the High Intensity Discharge headlamps Regular Production Option Code T4F. This is a normal operating characteristic. No repairs are recommended. The second condition is that fog lamps are inoperative and the vehicle is vehicle is equipped with the halogen headlamps Regular Production Option Code T4A. This is also a normal operating characteristic based on the vehicle build. Fog lamps were not offered on the LS trim level coupes. The third condition would be the customer asking for the fog lamps to be added or turned on. General Motors does not have an approved fog lamp kit that can be installed on a Camaro that was not originally equipped with that feature.
