The 2010 Camaro ss automatic is equipped with the fuel management system which deactivates the valves on four cylinders at low speeds. Upon accelerating the four cylinders are re-activated and a surge of approximately 200 hundred horsepower is sent to the real wheels which causes a traction loss and loss of control on icy or snow covered roadways. This is a hazard which can create a serious accident due to the rear wheels losing traction and slipping. The dealer has checked my vehicle and stated that GM considers this normal and not a problem.
