this problem is very annoying when these lights come on engine wont accelerate so car turns off and makes rattling noise like engine wants to shut off after turning on again have to sit for half an hour to 45 minutes to let engine cool before it decides to run smooth again a mechanic tells me that some codes may need to be overwriting

please help does this need a recall im sure im not the first this has happen too

please help report this problem if anyone else has had this happen .all the lights for engine service soon and please reduce engine power and atr lights come on and then car turns off have to wait 45minutes for car to cool before car runs smooth again help help help does my car have code that need overwriting ?
