Engine idles very eratically. Head lights dim on braking-inside dash and radio lights flicker-shifts into 1st gear harsh-voltage drops in the red causing car to almost stall-when turning on air conditioner there is a load whinning noise- car runs eractic on startup-locked up in reverse once-car shakes while driving-clicking noise in the dash-have been to shop over and over for these problems- first it was nothing, then the serp.,belt, then the alternator, now it is my radio causing these problems (so I am told) car still not fixed. As for the exhaust one of the pipes was popping and cracking, this was replaced. (tiresize: 235-55R16)
When taking the manual transmission out of third gear the computer cannot find the idle speed, so the engine fluctuates rpms anywhere from 850 RPM to stalling. It does this repeatedly. This was discovered when turning a corner, taking it out of third and losing all power after the engine stalled. The dealership cannot fix the problem and has advised the manufacturer.
