Vehicle had an oil consumption problem. Vehicle used 3/4 quart of oil every 2000 miles. In a 3000 mile oil change vehicle would have used 11/4 quarts of oil. Contacted dealer, and dealer stated this was normal.
When taking the manual transmission out of third gear the computer cannot find the idle speed, so the engine fluctuates rpms anywhere from 850 RPM to stalling. It does this repeatedly. This was discovered when turning a corner, taking it out of third and losing all power after the engine stalled. The dealership cannot fix the problem and has advised the manufacturer.
