The contact owns a 1995 Chevrolet Camaro. The contact was driving 25 mph and noticed a burning odor. In addition, transmission fluid was leaking from the vehicle. The contact noticed smoke emitting from the hood area and a fire erupted from the dipstick tube. The vehicle was not taken to a dealer for diagnosis or repair. The failure was reported to the manufacturer, who refused to provide assistance. The failure and current mileage was 129,000.
