I have a 2000 one ton chevy pick up truck. I bought the truck used with around 140,000 miles. I drove it for two days when the rear brakes started to make noise. I took the damn thing in to find out it needed a complete all around brake job( somewhere in the neighborhood of 1200.00). OK old truck stuffs bound to wear. drove it for about three weeks and the engine seemd to be starving for fuel...or something of that nature. Mind you this is a one ton truck designed to haul heavy loads....you have to imagined my dismay when i was pulling a small, empty, motorcycle trailer up the pass and this truck was screamin away and barely able to do 30 mph up this small mountain pass. infact i got passed by a small isuzu pulling a much larger and heavier camping trailer.
I have replace ever sensor, fuel injector, computer, and fuel pump and still the thing runst like its got a four cylinder under the hood. had it to 5 mechanic in the last year and all of them say everything seems fine....im really starting to get pissed cause im in this truck over 5 thousand in repairs and it still seems to have nothing for power
