I bought a brand new Bolt EV on November 30th of this year. Very rarely, when setting the parking brake with the brake pedal depressed, a loud crunching noise occurs that lasts about a second or less. I can feel a strong vibration in the brake pedal when this noise occurs. This noise does not occur when releasing the parking brake or when driving. This only occurs rarely so it is very difficult to get a video of it. Not a safety issue.
Update from Jan 9, 2023: I sold the car because of the battery recall but I found out this was normal operation so not an issue.
