I never had a vehicle heater replaced in a vehicle. The worst part is they cannot find a heater replacement and Canada is a cold country. No date gas been given for the replacement. With the defroster out, the vehicle is really not useable. The estimated cost of 2089.70 seems to me to be extremely over priced repair.
