This Preliminary information communicates that a vehicle may come to the dealer with a complaint of a Air Bag light, Service Park Brake, Service Stabilitrak or Service Steering message. Upon inspection the technician may find various communication codes. The technician is directed to remove the center console left side extension panel and inspect for a wire harness that is pinched behind a metal brace. If a pinched harness is found the technician is instructed to repair the wiring following SI wire repair procedures and ensure that the harness does not contact the brace upon reassembly.Â
