The contact owns a 2002 Chevrolet Blazer. The contact stated that the failed to turn off when the key was removed out the ignition switch. The contact had to disconnect the battery in order to shut the vehicle off. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who replaced the ignition switch. The manufacturer was made aware of the problem. The approximate failure mileage was 241,000.
Vehicle shuts off while driving and/or won't start from time to time. Electrical component has been replaced but it was discovered to be the wrong part. It was later replaced after rear wind shield wiper wouldn't start. To date the problem has reoccurred.
