I own a 2001 Chevrolet 2dr 2wheel drive Blazer. The wheel bearings and spindle / parts have already needed to be replaced on both sides/front. I found this problem because the wheel of my front passenger side came off while I was driving. Thankfully I heard the grinding and slowed my speed to 5-6 mph and had turned my hazard lights on. From what I am learning this is a problem that is some what common with my make/model vehicle. I have also seem complaints of this nature on Canadian auto club sites.
