This data is from the NHTSA — the US gov't agency tasked with vehicle safety. Complaints are spread across multiple & redundant categories, & are not organized by problem.
So how do you find out what problems are occurring? For this NHTSA complaint data, the only way is to read through the comments below. Any duplicates or errors? It's not us.
There is an error code in teh computer P0410 the secondary injector needs to be replaced again and again, it was covered under warranty the first time. Then wemoved to Massachusetts and the light came on again which I then got it fixed and paid for it on my own because it wasn't under warranty, and the light came on again with teh same code P0410 the secondary air injector. I haven't been abel to get the vehicle inspected due to teh error code becuase it caused an emmsisions failure. The second time cost me $400, I've looked on the internet only to find that many other poeple have the same problem and no recall has been issued as of yet. I have contacted Chevrolet about the problem, which to no avail they would not cover the part orany cost of a new one. The vehicle was still not inspected nor will ever be because replacing the part apperently wasn't the problem. Is there anything the NHTSA could do in this situation?
