It was discovered by Grease Monkey, had to flush it twice because in Texas only put water in when they replaced the radiator. Now it's rusty again, built up in the overflow and needs another flush already. It's the newest vehicle I've ever owned and by far the worst and most problematic.
They have had a lot of problems with the bad gaskets that they were getting to put on the engines and I think that was the problem. I have heard a lot of people complain about the same problem on the votec engine.
i have heard the dex coolant is causing problems with radiators, manifold caskets and heater core. I have also heard there was a law suite so why weren't informed about this! So now who is going to pay for my damages to my car because i sure don't have the money to pay for this! $800.00 --- $2500.00. if anyone knows how to handle this problem email me!
i just bought it and the day i got it, the check engine light comes on and i have it checked out and is out of antifreeze so i have the light turned off and on the way home it comes back on. to make a long story short it had a intake leak very MAD>:-( just got it.
