This data is from the NHTSA — the US gov't agency tasked with vehicle safety. Complaints are spread across multiple & redundant categories, & are not organized by problem.
So how do you find out what problems are occurring? For this NHTSA complaint data, the only way is to read through the comments below. Any duplicates or errors? It's not us.
Numerous electrical problems and or failures, bad fuel and exhaust problems, suspension pops excessively, gas pedal sticks intermittently, radio replaced twice, electric seats and windows malfunction
Fuel gauge swings between " and full and sticks at half. Both front left & right side hub bearing assembly failed right side not as bad as left had both sides replaced-these are critical parts as they hold wheel on axle-I am second owner of car bought from dealer - dealer took 20% off total bill-defect not dealers fault but Chevrolet"S-called customer assistance told nothing they can or will do for me am still trying to get full refund for parts&labor for defective parts that should have not failed at this low milage.
The fuel gauge needle didn't register the amount of gas in the tank. It would move back and forth erratically, dropping down to E with a "fuel low" warning and then immediately going back up to F. my mechanic had to put in a new fuel sender and pump at a cost of $670.
While driving the fuel gauge fails to indicate the correct amount of fuel in vehicle, at times the needle would indicate a full tank when it was empty or vice versa.
