very annoying engine tappet noise after cold engine start-up especially when outside temp. is below 40 degrees,initially used Rislone engine treatment with some success,but what really works is Lucas fuel treatment(goes in your gas tank), with routine use no tappet noise at all.(winter months only). It will also keep the fuel injectors clean and lubricated as well.
