I have a 2000 Chevy Blazer 4x4 Lt with computer climate control. So far I have replaced the blend door actuator, the actual control and the interior temperature sensor. Nothing has seemed to fix the problem of not having control over my temperature control. The blend door is not jammed. When I plug in the wire harness for the blend door actuator it still moves by itself, even with the new actuator. When I push the AC button the AC works, but when I try to use heat, it doesn't come on.

Someone please help, winter is approaching and I don't want to freeze my butt off the whole winter.

Last winter I didn't get much heat from heater, I put up with it thinking I would need a new heater core. A rather large under taking, replacing it, I simply bought a Prestone flush kit from Wal-Mart, it worked, I have heat now with no leaks. I was a little worried about creating a leak from the flush, I used a small can of Bars leak/conditioner with the re fill.

In October when I turned my heater on it blew COLD air. I took it to the dealer- I still had 3 months left on my extended warranty. They "fixed" it 2 months later I was on a 600 mile trip when it started bowing COLD air again. I took it back to the dealer- the said the heater core was plugged, and the extended warranty didn't cover that. I told them they were the only ones who had done anything to it so they needed to fix it. They said it wasn't covered. So I did nothing. The following summer it would overheat if I was running errands- starting and shutting off the engine alot. My husband checked the radiator water- which was bright orange. He says it's that color because the "fix" was to put stop leak in the cooling system.

Heater st0pped bl0wing h0t air. I p0pped the h00d and checked the tw0 h0ses that c0nnect t0 the heater c0re 0n the fire wall. 0ne side was super h0t t0 the t0uch and the 0ther was c0ld. Must be cl0gged!! S0 I shut the engine 0ff and disc0nted the tw0 h0ses, (careful! I f0rg0t t0 reIieve the c00lant pressure and antifreezed sprayed me and all 0ver the engine. FREAK!!! Any ways.. I cut my garden h0se in half and slid 0ne end 0ver the smaller 0f the tw0 heater c0re pipes and secured with a clamp and h00ked that same p0rti0n 0f h0se t0 my water faucet. I then t00k the 0ther half 0f my sacrificed h0se and attached it t0 the bigger heater c0re pipe(this t00k s0me persuasi0n, its a tight fit) I ran the end 0f the h0se 0ut t0 the driveway. I turned 0n the water and flushed the c0re f0r ab0ut 15 minutes. Immediately all this crap came 0ut, this thick br0wn sludge that must have been cl0gging the c0re. I reversed the h0ses and ran water again f0r 15 min. I reattached the heater h0ses t0 the c0re and checked all clamps. I started the engine and after it had warmed up, I HAD HEAT bl0wing.

S.O.B. The dawg gone heater went out again. I had flushed the system back in April of 2008... four months later, poop went the heat. I don't get it, the A/C works as A/C, The heater works as A/C.... Chevy engineers double jointed or something?

This is the second time that I had to have the coil cleaned. It is cheaper then replacing it. After agreeing to have the coil cleaned for a second time, the mechanic stated that the coil may leak. He also stated that the coolant turns to mush and that it clogs the coil. He said that it is very common in that model. I want to know why the coolant turns to mush.

I have two small kids & I have the heated seats, which I love, but it doesn't help the kids in the back. I have them dressed like Eskimos in the back seat (which inadvertently keeps them from picking at each other, however, it is uncomfortable for them and not as safe.
