We had the vehicle serviced by Ray Hudson Chevy in La Crosse, WI. They claimed they could not find a reason for the car to go completely dead, so they replaced the battery and throttle sensor. Seven miles after we picked the car up (less than 15 minutes), the car started smoking and within minutes it was blazing on fire!!! Ray Hudson will do nothing about it. I am in the process of writing a formal complaint to GM. No one seems to care. I was told by a mechanic that Chevy Blazers are known for catching on fire under the hood. ESPECIALLY after replacing a throttle sensor. My Blazer was a total loss.
