The vehicle accelerated suddenly and unexpectantly. After inspection of the vehicle by the dealer it was discovered that the guide housing air cleaner broke off and lodged behind the accelerator. Nlm
Consumer states that there was a fire in the engine compartment which caught the whole vehicle on fire. Contacted dealer and the dealer is not willing to do anything. Please provide further informaiton. Nlm
Engine cut off and locks while driving at highway speed of 60-65 mph. Dealer and manufacturer were notified. Feel free to provide any further infromation.
When I bought the truck, it had a 3,000mile 30 day warranty on it, 60000miles. 1st occurrence with engine light and dipstick corrosion was within that time. Down time for the truck one week. The next month, I was enroute and the light triggered again. Took truck to local Chevy dealer who had looked at dipstick before replacement, stated same dipstick. At this point I called Chevrolet company who told me the $1800 damage bill caused by the defective dipstick and subsequent transmission damage would be mine to cover.all because it was under warranty and should have been fixed the first time.
Periodically vehicle would stall whether at 65 mph or 25 mph. Dealer has not found specific cause of defect or remedy, but had admitted to stalling. Please add additional information.

Consumer had found a couple oil drops on ground. Then, took vehicle for an oil change.dealer found oil leak on engine cooling unit line. Could not repair it because part could not be found.
Oil leak at oil line could cause damage to engine, and in some cases when driving, engine could lock up without prior warning. Consumer has contacted dealer, parts on back order.
Intermittently, while driving at any speed, truck shut off without warning. Dealership able to duplicate this problem, but unable to determine cause. Owner experienced the same problem about two years ago, but problem went away. Currently, it is happening more frequently.
While driving vehicle just cuts off without warning. Dealer is not able to locate the exact problem, but fuel pump has been replaced twice, and will be replaced a third time. This will be three times in one month that fuel pump has been changed.
The engine continues to cut off if the vehicle has been drived for more that 30 minutes and the A/C is running. The engine light does not come on nor are there any warnings that the vehicle is going to die. Dealer cannot identify any problem because computer isn't registering any issues. The egr valve was replaced but problem continues.
When making a left turn vehicle completely shut down, causing loss of steering control and brakes which has resulted in two collisions. Cause unknown. Dealer could not correct the problem.
While driving engine suddenly shut down, causing a loss of all power in this vehicle. Also, brakes woudl not respond, almost causing an accident. Vehicle was repaired by the dealer. Problem occurred again after a month. Dealer was then contacted again.
Engine oil leak looks as if the oil filter is leaking but is coming from the oil filter adapter lines service advisors and managers all know of the problem and told me what it was without looking at vehicle they said it was common on all Blazer Chevrolet denied any problem fuel gauge stopped recording below half and would go back up to full at times gas pedal would be hard to press and finally would stick at various speeds engine coolant coolant looks rusty in the overflow tank and corroded around radiator cap directly behind the sticker that reads no matience required for 5 yrs. 150,000 miles
