Power boosted brake failure defective pin & spring between master cylinder & power booster. Vehicle can't stop in federal required distance in footage at various speeds. This can cause major accidents, injury, & death.
When applying brakes pedal went all the way to the floor, and she heard an air noise. Also, consumer said at other times brake pedal does not go down at all &the Blazer. The dealer stated that the cause was bad master cylinder and brake booster.
Brakes spongy, inability to stop in proper manner, almost in 3 accidents this past weekend, this will be my 4th set of brakes in 26,000 miles, I don't know if it is the ABS that is causing it, because no one can find out what the problem is, master cylinder replaced, tires are still bad from the day I purchased auto, I have 2 dealerships telling me two different stories, no one can fix auto, GM will not respond to complaints of this safety issue, they brush it off, the system is bad, and they will not correct the problem.
Car towed in three times last summer 6/28/ car stalled, electrical system problems, replaced battery, alternator,7 /27 reprogrammed PCM, 9/16 brakes failed replaced master cylinder. We've had other problems with this car from the start. Chevy can't figure out why the car engine started smoking and eventually caught on fire. Car has always been maintained, we have extended 8 year warranty. It was very dangerous, my daughter had taken the car just 1/2 mile to the shopping center and back when it started smoking. The car is totalled, she was not hurt and a neighbor was helpful by called the fire department. This was exceedingly dangerous.
When applying the brake the pedal goes to the floor and vehicle does not stop. Dealer has adjusted brakes 4 times, and problem still exists. Dealer also replaced master cylinder. In addition, gears were stuck in park.
