Intermittently when the brakes are applied pedal goes to the floor, resulting in extended stopping distance. Dealer has inspected the vehicle, and the manufacturer has been notified.
Problem with extended stopping distance; even as brakes were applied vehicle still continued to move before stopping.believes this caused a collision. Asking help from NHTSA in this matter. Dealer been dragging out this problem long enough, and somebody needs to do something.
EA94038, intermittently braking system malfunctioned usually when stopping and going over a bump, which causes extended stopping distance and could result in a crash. Dealer could not determine the cause of the problem.
While driving brakes are making loud noises upon stopping.when applying the brakes in wet weather conditions at a speed of 5- 10 mph there is increasded stopping distances.
When at any speed and applying the brakes, brakes are hard and there is a squeaking noise coming from the brakes. Consumer has to hold his foot down on the brake pedal until the vehicle slows down and comes to a stop.

Braking system malfunctioned, causing the brake pedal to go to the floor, and extended stopping distance. Also, there was a loud noise. This could result in a crash. Had been to dealer several times, but dealer could not determine the cause of the problem.
While driving applied brakes and there was a hissing noise and no response from the brakes, and pedal was hard. Consumer stood on the pedal, and it would not budge. The dealer has been contacted.
The vacuum and egr valve caused the problem with brake failure. Brakes felt like pushing on a brick when going downhill. Was making squealing noises. Had no brakes. Vehicle went over an embankment & flipped. Upon impact, air bags failed to deploy. Dealer informed owner of intermittent problems with brakes. Driver has back problem due to accident.
Intermittently when the brakes are applied on multiple pavements pedal goes to floorboard, the resulting in extended stopping distance. Also, a loud noise is heard. Dealer wil be notified.
Anti-lock brake system will not activate right away, causing extended stopping distance on slippery roads which could have resulted in a collision. Consumer would like to trade vehicle back to original dealer for a safer vehicle.
Was coming to red light after traveling 40mph & proceeded to apply brakes to slow down. Brake pedal went to floor. The vehicle failed to stop. Rearended vehicle in front. The air bags failed to deploy at time of impact.
Complaint is regarding poor brake life. Front brake pads and rotor replacement at 38000 miles indicates a poor quality from the original equipment manufacturer. Associates reported the same condition and repair after 36000 miles on similar vehicle.
