Windshield wipers intermittently fail. There was a recall issued for this problem but apparently only covered vehicles manufactured up to may, 1996. Mine was built in July, 1996 so is not covered in the recall. The problem is the same, the vehicle should be fixed by the manufacturer at no cost.

Recalls 99V193000/ ABS and 98V150001/ windshield wiper motor wiring. Dealer said recall repairs won't fix the problems. Also, dealer reported to manufacturer that the recalls were serviced, although they were not.
Sometimes windshield wipers will operate and sometimes windshield wipers will not. Was taken to dealership. Owner was told by dealership that recall campaign # 98V150001 did not apply to this vehicle due to VIN. Problem has not been corrected.
